We Enhanced News 12 Reporter Antoinette Biordi’s Hair

Dynamic Butterfly colorist Patricia Ribeiro helped News 12 Long Island reporter Antoinette Biordi with a softer look for the camera! A black or deep brunette shade can sometimes translate as being too dark on TV, so adding in more color dimension – especially for those with thick hair – is an industry beauty secret for making hair look extra gorgeous under studio lights. With lots and lots of hair to work with, Patricia helped this newscaster transition from black roots and faded auburn ends to a shiny brown with slight rich red accents. For extra color radiance, Patricia treated the hair with a moisturizing mask (try Kérastase Elixir Ultime or Masquintense for fine hair) to help revive very dry, porous lengths and bring back reflective, mirror-like shine. To better rock the newfound movement created by color and highlights, stylist Taylor Brock perfected the look with new layers to remove weight and give hair a lighter, flowing feel. Patricia says Antoinette’s color look is still a work in progress, as she is slowly working towards lifting the hair into an even lighter brown, being conscious of preserving maximum hair health. For follow-up, the next visit is recommended in 6 weeks!
